Abandoned Kittens Empty Abandoned Kittens

Post by Veronicabee Wed Apr 11, 2012 11:25 am

Last week someone left a cardboard box behind our house with four lovely kittens in, we already have a house full of animals. They are very lively and full of fun. If anyone could home any please look on the El Capricho web site to see photos. We live at Los cortajillos, inbetween Almontaras and Fatima

You are very good to take them in. Hope you have luck finding them a home. We now number around 20 cats and a dog. Reason for increase in cats is a "kitten" we rescued on Christmas Day wasn't as young as we thought and has given birth to 3 kittens. Around 3 weeks later a neighbour's very pregnant cat visited our mother cat and kittens and promptly gave birth to 5 kittens along side her. No sign of her removing them yet but we live in hope. At least they are all getting used to living with a friendly dog as he keeps rounding them up if they leave their pen and pushing them back to where, in his mind, they belong.

Not had any luck rehomeing the kittens yet. We already have three adult cats which were left here and six dogs, so we are very crowded especially now the weather is bad and we can't all go outside. Four kittens at one time is very time comsuming as you proably know. Because we brought them straight into the house we got the dogs use to them in a couple of days. They are very cute, so if you know of anyone that wants one please let me know.
