Hi everyone, We are looking at cave houses with interest but before going any further
does any one experience claustrophobia in caves? I am concerned about the lack of windows, so as I said I need to know before getting more involved.

Most estate agents will be able to rent one to you for a week or so whilst you explore the area.
Out cave has three bedrooms, one has a window directly to the outside, another opens onto a corridor with a window directly opposite, so you could sleep with the door open if you wish. Our master bedroom is two rooms deep within the cave, so no windows, but we have air circulation (?) holes drilled in the door that enables me to judge the state of first light/dawn outside.

Our cave lounge has no windows, but after being outside in the bright light and heat, you appreciate a low lit cooler room. You'll love a rental holiday for a week round here. Although you might not return!

We have windows all around as our cave is two faced, in the nicest possible way 
Two of the cave bedrooms have windows, whereas one doesn't . Both Kitchens have windows. One bathroom does, the other doesn't. No claustrophobia comments from any of our visitors. Stable style entrance doors all help with the ventilation right through the place & extra light if we feel the need. Once inside, particularly in the heat of the Summer, the coolness is so welcome. Quite the reverse in the Winter months of course. We have had temperatures as low as minus 16 degrees C, whilst living here, but it has always remained cosy inside!
Come out & try one, you will never regret it. Our place has been on the market for a while now, but we are in no hurry to sell. We love it.
