Endessa

Hi, Our solicitor told us on Friday that the Endessa office in Baza has been shut permanently. The office windows are papered over and there are large notices saying ´closed´. The nearest place to go to to complain about them or get a meter is now Granada. Talk about customer service !!!!  

I'd complain about that.

I think that is really bad. You have our sympathy.

Their website says you can lodge a complaint or get a new contract online. They also list an office in Guadix (but then again, the website shows one in Baza, too)

Two years ago we made a contract with a bank in Baza which was renewable every year, they told us at the tail in of 2013 they were closing the bank and to find somewhere else to deposit our money, it has taken us 14 days to get our money out of their bank into our bank in Baza. We contacted them they told us they had closed 12 branches one of them being Baza.

It's not a surprise that this country is in such a mess.......still we have a choice!!

Guadix is the place to go so i have been told.

Interesting. My French neighbour is digging up the track today to lay a new power cable to his cave. Ive asked him if he thinks it may be a job Endesa should be doing. Hi answer was yes, he's going to speak to them today.

Hope your French neighbours aren't expecting Endessa to move quickly. We have been waiting three years for them to connect our house to a pylon on the edge of our land. Our neighbours have been waiting five years and ten years. Our solicitor has even been to the Department of Industry in Granada to get them to move but nothing has worked.

ive just mentioned this to him. 20 minutes ago, and he replied, "Zeees iz not normaaaall here in Zpain, Zay wheeel com here very kweeekly".

If they do arrive quickly please tell me what dynamite he used   

He will short circuit the Fuenta Nueva power Station. Then they will come :-)

I think he's done that a couple of times previously when he's been 'connecting' into the grid.  

I have been told there is an office in Guadix. But rather than go there I thought I would try and sort out what I needed to online through their 'contact us' section' and it keeps bouncing back!?

Dave, perhaps your French neighbour has tapped into the supply of "les rosbif" in Fuenta Nueva and would account for your large leccy bills!!!
