Unfortunately there is not much you can do about persistent dog barking. That's Spain, and other countries too I expect. Annoying though.

Tell the local police the location of the persistent barking dogs and they send round the antirrábica van.

Lost me..............my dog barks, the dogs around our place on the farms and smallholdings bark, I hope the dog catcher has a BIG vehicle for our area.(and a substantial padded suit)

Dogs bark (its the wolf in them), but I prefer mine to some humans who are just barking anyway.

Travelling Crims don't like dogs (especially round their throat or gonads), Burglars don't like dogs, Bogus Salesmen don't like dogs................... I love dogs for all the right reasons, including the above, but they will bark!

Fortunately, if you live in a high rise or on an estate you will not be disturbed(well not by the dogs anyway)Smile Smile

Dogs also bark when other dogs or foxes are arround, it helps to keep other livestock safe. They also bark if other dogs bark on other side of our village so which dog do you catch? which one started it! good luck to the dog catcher working that one out.

Our German friend from the Costa Blanca have stayed with us for a week she is a very disabled person and has had Polio from an early age and Heinz her husband has lately had 1.6 meters of his intestines remover they wanted to get away from the Barking Dogs. It was so quiet and peaceful they wanted to change homes with us for a unspecified time, they have a very nice villa with everything but that is not what we are looking for. And that is why I put the posting on the Forum.

So not true - dogs in the yard next door and the one at the back (terraced houses) - really get on your nerves, specially when the neighbours leave them out all night! I do hear dogs barking here, but mostly from a distance - much better!
