British Legion

Hi,

I will be moving to Huescar in a couple of weeks i currently reside over at Castil De Campos and i would really like to know if there is a local branch of the British Legion that i could join.

I am ex forces i served with 47 field rgt for 3 years before getting a medical discharge.

Would that have been 47 fd Rgt RA, Mansergh Barracks by any chance?

I was at Mansergh barracks, not a 'dropshort' though. I was there with 10 fd sqn RE. (Harrier support). We moved up from RAF Laarbruch which was a bit of a shock. Our first priority was to hang a sign above the entrance to the mess, 'Sebastapol Lounge'. If you know your corps history, youll know why it caused a few bar room brawls!
